Outbound half of the round trip that established the project's 7.70 kWh AC/gal ProPower baseline. Full-duration descent from Prescott (~5,040 ft) to the Coachella Valley floor (below sea level), ProPower running essentially the entire drive. This is a legacy pre-trip file used here only to test the report-generation pipeline against an older, incomplete PID set — most July-trip sections below (04, 05, 06) have no supporting channels in this file and are marked not available rather than estimated.
Idle-row filtering by gear code (70/128/130) is not possible — this file has no gear-code channel. Stopped rows (speed = 0 mph) are 1,154 of 13,559 rows (~8.5%) and are included in the totals below since fuel/energy accounting doesn't require the gear filter, only duty-cycle math does (N/A this leg — see Section 04).
| Metric | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Total fuel | 19.15 gal | Trip Fuel PID, 19.152 gal; cross-checked by trapezoidal integration of fuel-rate PID: 19.154 gal (Δ 0.01%) |
| ProPower delivered | 28.58 kWh AC | Sum of both DC/AC converter output channels, integrated over time |
| State A duty | not available | No TrekDrive/trailer telemetry in this file — predates trailer instrumentation |
| ProPower ON duty | 96.9% of all rows / 99.95% of moving rows | Essentially continuous — see Section 03 flag on isolating incremental fuel |
| Distance / duration | 278.1 mi / 5h 47m | Avg 48.0 mph including stops |
| Tow-vehicle HV pack SOC start → end | 0% → 32.4% | 1.5 kWh MGU pack, cycles frequently — not the LightShip 77 kWh house pack (no trailer SOC channel this file) |
ProPower ran 96.9–99.95% of this leg with no extended off-baseline segment, so incremental fuel cannot be isolated by on/off differencing from this file alone. This June 13 outbound run is, in fact, one of the two legs (with the June 18 return) that the KB's 7.70 kWh AC/gal baseline was originally derived from via full-round-trip accounting — not single-leg segment differencing. Treat Column A below as applying the established constant, not re-deriving it.
| Segment | kWh AC | Measured gal (÷7.70) | Modeled gal (BTE) | Δ A–B |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Full leg | 28.58 | 3.71 | ~2.98 | −20% |
Column A applies the KB baseline directly: 28.58 kWh AC ÷ 7.70 kWh/gal = 3.71 gal. Mean AC output while ProPower was on: 5.22 kW (range 0.11–6.02 kW), consistent with the 5.36–5.80 kW baseline range once ramp-up/down transients are averaged in.
Column B rebuild uses stated assumptions not validated against this file: 95% inverter/mechanical efficiency, 30% brake thermal efficiency, 33.7 kWh/gal gasoline LHV. This is illustrative only — the assumptions are generic, not measured on this rig, so the 20% divergence from Column A should not be read as a real discrepancy.

| Not available — no wind CSV was uploaded for this test run (the HRRR anchor-point round trip was skipped) | |
This file has no TrekDrive, trailer battery, or trailer-side telemetry columns at all — it predates the LightShip trailer integration entirely (20 tow-vehicle-only PIDs: RPM, load, fuel rate, small HV pack, ProPower output, GPS). No State A ever occurs in this dataset because the interlock/trailer system isn't wired into this log. Nothing to report for this section.
No λ channel (Fuel/Air commanded equivalence ratio, SAE Mode 01 0x44) in this file — that PID was added 2026-07-06, well after this file was logged. No IAT2 either, so even a rough proxy isn't available. Nothing to report for this section.
